We are proud to introduce the newest member of the Foltec SG family: Foltec SG Minors.

Foltec SG Minors is a proprietary combination of dry, soluble granules that contains selected secondary and minor elements. This product can be tank mixed with any of the Foltec SG formulas and is a great addition to mix with HCU™ (Humic Coated Urea).

Foltec SG is an innovative foliar nutrient technology from The Andersons.

Designed to be different, Foltec SG is changing the way superintendents and turf managers think about complex foliar nutrition programs. With easy to understand coverage and application rates, Foltec SG truly allows you to spray smarter.

Unlike industry standard liquid fertilizers consisting of numerous formulations and packaged in cumbersome plastic jugs, Foltec SG is a proprietary combination of dry soluble granules (SG) that quickly solubilize in the spray tank.

This combination of soluble granules creates a complete nutrition product that reduces the need for a complex tank mix using a wide variety of products.

Foltec SG is available in four formulations which have been shown to fit the parameters of a typical foliar applied fertility program and include High N, High P, High K and High N and K formulations, along with a minors package.

Foltec is the ideal liquid complement to Nutri DG baseline nutrition.

The Andersons research and development group, in conjunction with leading university testing, has created a range of foliar bio-enhanced products that help turf managers optimize turf nutrition programs and provide season long turf health.

Foltec contains field-proven bio-enhancements for pre-stress conditioning and improved nutrient efficiency.

Amino Acids

Under stressful conditions, such as excessive heat or drought, it is difficult for turf plants to produce essential amino acid compounds. 

Foliar applications of L-Amino acids translocate through the leaf and help the plant maintain healthy growth during stressful conditions.

Sea Plant Extracts

Our Sea Plant Extracts are derived exclusively from the most biologically active Sea Plant species in the world.

They contain a complex array of organic and mineral compounds which include cytokinins, vitamins, sugars, enzymes, and proteins that help promote turf health and improved wear and drought tolerance.

Foltec Foundation Products - The Building Blocks of a Foliar Program

Use Foltec Foundation Products when developing a foliar tank-mix strategy for the growing season. For best results, begin applications during early spring and continue applications during the summer stress months.

Foltec foundation products include:

  • Fortify (6-0-0)
    Contains sea plant extract + amino acids+ essential immobile turf nutrients
     
  • Cytozorb-S (4-0-1)
    Contains sea plant extract + essential turf nutrients + proprietary surfactant

KeyPlex® provides a complex of essential plant nutrients and the following bioenhancements:

 

  • Alpha Keto Acids - KeyPlex technology provides alpha keto acids, a natural component of the Krebs cycle. AKA's provide a shot of adrenaline to the plant.
  • Yeast Hydrolysate - KeyPlex technology provides yeast hydrolysate, which has been shown to improve plant defenses by triggering induction of defensive proteins.
  • Humic and Fulvic Acids - KeyPlex technology contains these unique compounds which can form complexes with metal ions that enhance nutrient availability.

KeyPlex is only found in Foltec Minors.
